Identity Verification

What is Identity Verification?

An optional webcam face-match check. The candidate takes one baseline photo at the start of the assessment, and the system quietly captures a few more snapshots during the session to confirm the same person is doing the work.

How do I turn on Identity Verification, and what if a candidate declines?

Turn it on in the assessment builder. You also choose what happens if a candidate declines consent: Block (they can't continue) or Allow & Flag (they continue, but it's flagged for your review).

Where do I see identity results, and how is candidate privacy handled?

On the score report you'll see the baseline photo next to each session snapshot with a match score, and you can mark the candidate as Verified or reject the identity with a note. Candidates give consent first and can decline without penalty. Photos are stored encrypted, used only for face-matching by the hiring team, and automatically deleted after 30 days.
