What is the AI Video Interview?

It's a short, spoken Q&A that runs right after a candidate submits their assessment — a few questions about the work they just built. An AI interviewer asks each question out loud, and the candidate answers on camera. It's one-way: the interviewer doesn't reply or chat, it just captures their answers for you to review.

How do I add a video interview to my assessment?

In the assessment builder, turn on AI Video Interview. You choose a length — Quick, Standard, or Deep — and the focus areas you want covered, like Code Understanding, Testing, or Design Thinking. The number of questions is set by the length you pick. This feature is available on the Hire Plus and Enterprise plans.

Where do I watch the interview answers?

On the candidate's score report. You'll see the full recording, play each answer question by question, and view per-skill notes that tie their answers to the dimensions they were scored on.

Is the video interview private for candidates?

Yes. Before it starts, candidates see a consent screen and a camera check. Recordings are shared only with the hiring team, and candidates can request deletion. The interview never auto-fails a candidate for a camera or connection problem.
